BREAK & ENTER ATTEMPT-SUBJECT ARRESTED - OSHAWA, ONTARIO

On Wednesday, September 16th 2015 at 11:15pm a male subject attempted to gain unlawful entry to a retail jewellery store located on King Street, Oshawa, Ontario.

The unit's security alarm was triggered.  Durham Regional Police Officers attended the location and apprehended a male leaving the back of the unit.  He was wearing gloves, and had left behind a bag that contained tools.  Officers had noted that there were pry marks on the rear door.

Joshua SCOTT, aged 30 of Oshawa, Ontario is charged with:

1.  Attempt Break and Enter

2.  Possession of Break-in Tools

3.  Fail to Comply with Undertaking

4.  Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

He was held for a bail hearing.
