Distraction Theft Montreal
Jan 06, 2018
Bulletin 2018-2326

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of Law

On 2018-01-06 around 1pm the 2 males shown above entered a retail jewellery store on Crescent Street, Montreal, Quebec. They asked to see the CORUM watches. An employee brought them to the display stand. One of the subjects  asked to try on  one of the watches. He removed his watch and placed it on the table. In all the confusion the subject was able to conceal a watch and leave without paying. It is believed they may be distraction thieves who are travelling across the country.

If they have been into your store contact your local police or JVC. Refer to Montreal File 20-180106-009. The officer in charge of the case is Julie Charbonneau 514-591-0293
