RCMP arrest suspect in Nelson Break-In

RCMP are advising the public  of  arrest of the suspect involved in the fatal collision that claimed the life of a 35-year-old mother of four on Highway 3 near the Hope Slide has been arrested.

The suspect is believed to be the same man who allegedly broke into Ted Allen’s Jewelry store in Nelson Monday, September 11, 2017. The suspected stole items and caused damage to the tune of $30,000.

RCMP said no further details are available at this time. However, Global BC is reporting the suspect faces several charges in Revelstoke, including assaulting a police officer, obstructing a police officer, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and possession of stolen,
