Hamilton police are searching for a man who stole more than $25,000 worth of jewelry from an east end pawnshop, Friday afternoon the 18th February 2017.  The incident happened around 4 p.m., when a single male, 5'7", walked into Pawn Kings, on Main Street East near Kenilworth Avenue, and openly started stealing jewelry. 

Police say the man warned the shop's employees "it was a robbery," before fleeing on foot with the items.  The man in his 20s was wearing a toque, hoodie and jeans.  

No one was injured and investigators are still trying to determine the contents of what the robber made off with.
