Distraction Theft - Brampton, Ontario

On Saturday January 28th 2017 a distraction theft occurred in a Brampton Ontario Jewellery store. One male and two females entered the store. The male had gold front teeth and the two females worn hijabs. As soon as they entered the store the male pulled out a stack of money and claimed to be a serious buyer. They asked to see a tray of bracelets. The sales associate obtained a tray and placed it on the showcase. The male distracted the sales clerk while the two females removed some bracelets. The then asked to look at a tray of necklaces. They left the store after about 20 minutes. The owner was suspicious and checked the video surveillance and realized a distraction theft had taken place.
