TORONTO POLICE JUST RELEASE PICTURE OF BREAK-IN SUSPECT

ALL PERSONS ARE CONSIDERED INNOCENT UNTIL CONVICTED IN A COURT OF LAW

Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a break-in at a jewellery store in Yorkville. According to police, a suspect smashed a glass door of a jewellery store in the area of Cumberland and Bellair streets at around 4:15 a.m. on June 27. The suspect, investigators allege, fled the store with a backpack full of jewellery.

He has been described by police as a man in his 50s with grey hair and a goatee. Police say he was last seen wearing black shorts, a black jacket, a black backpack and a beige Reebok ‘CRSFT’ baseball cap. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 416-808-5300 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
